After a successful run with their Boston based jazz fusion band Jason Diana and Lee Ritter went their separate ways. Upon graduating from Berklee College of Music, both Jason and Lee returned home. Jason returned to his home in Orlando, Florida, and Lee returned to Burlington, Vermont. After two years of dead end jobs and musical malignancy, the two met in New York City in the spring of 2003 to discuss plans for a new project. Later, after fifteen hundred miles and months of driving, Lee and Jason united in Orlando to begin their search for creative satisfaction. After several incarnations and six grueling months, Jason and Lee found their musical brethren.

A seasoned bass player of fifteen years with a B.A. in Music Industry from SUNY Oneonta, Jason Premo was the first to join the fold. The next to join was Jamie Sparks, a singer songwriter from Columbus, GA. With ten years of experience in everything from classical to rock, Jamie was a perfect fit. A few months later an ex-band mate of Premo’s from Rome, NY, Jeremy Lupa, moved to Orlando to take the helm as the Rabbit’s drummer. Lupa, with a B.A. in Music Industry from SUNY Oneonta, and a background in concert and orchestral percussion, rounded out the line up.

Blending hard rock traditions with a vast array of stylistically diverse influences, Rabbits With Glasses is a truly unique hard rock act.
